Meet Our Staff





Dr. Kirit Patel, M.D.

Dr. Kirit Patel graduated from BJ Medical College of Gujurat University in India and received a Doctorate of Medicine in 1984. He completed his residency in 1988 at New Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, India. In 1988 he moved to the United States and in 1993, he completed additional residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Patel is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujurati. Dr.’s Kirit and Daksha Patel live in the East Valley and have two beautiful girls.





Dr. Gerard Chamberlin, M.D., MPH

Dr. Gerard Chamberlin attended the University of Arizona where he received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology, his Masters Degree in Public Health and his Doctorate in Medicine. He has significant experience in public health policy and strives to better the health and well-being of his community through individualized attention and patient care. He performed his post-graduate training in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix where he also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Chamberlin’s areas of interest include general internal medicine patient safety, preventative care and children with complex medical problems. He and his wife have two beautiful young daughters.





Dr. Daksha Patel, M.D.

Dr. Daksha Patel graduated from Government Medical College in Surat, India, and received a Doctorate in Medicine from South Gujurat University in 1985.  She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the same University in 1990.  She also completed her Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital Chicago in 1996.  She has been board certified since 1997, and has a special interest in women’s health.  In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband, Dr. Kirit Patel, and their two daughters.





Dr. May Carter, M.D.

Dr. Jacqueline May Carter attended Cornell University in New York where she received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. She then moved back to Arizona to attend the University of Arizona for her Doctorate of Medicine. She performed her post-graduate training in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix. After finishing there, she remained an extra year to be a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She then worked in Casa Grande, Gilbert, and San Tan Valley. Dr. May Carter’s areas of interest include asthma and allergy treatments, preventative care of chronic disease, and care of children. She and her husband have a feisty young son, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a tortoise. She enjoys books, movies, and travel.





Eric Koenig, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Eric attended the University of Phoenix where he received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing. He is a nationally board certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice. He has over a decade of nursing experience in acute patient care management and leadership. Eric is able to order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as well as prescribe medications and other treatments. His philosophy is to deliver patient-centered, accessible, high-quality health care to the people he serves throughout their lifespan. He and his wife live in the east valley and have 4 beautiful children.
